LMO Work permit caregivers | nannies
|
If you do not want to pay average recruitment costs of $3000 to hire a nanny / live-in caregiver and would like to have more control over the recruitment process, this service is for you.
Recruit a nanny / live-in caregiver
We help you to post ads in order to recruit foreign live-in caregivers.
We open a free email account for you so you can receive emails from applicants.
You will be able to choose the best candidate for your family from dozens of resumes. We will provide you with guidance on interviewing the candidates.
Before you conduct interviews, you can send us the resumes of the caregivers that you are interested in so that we can check if they meet the requirements of the Live-In Caregiver program.
LMO and Work Permit
In the meantime, our Certified Immigration Consultants will prepare the paperwork that is required by the government in order to hire a foreign worker (Labour Market Opinion / LMO).
Once you have selected a nanny we will process the work permit for her.
Your obligations as an employer:
a) Pay the air ticket for the worker to come to Canada
b) Cover the medical insurance for the first 3 months (Not all provinces require this)
c) Provide an independent room and food for the Live-In Caregiver (you can charge an amount established by the government for this)
d) Enroll the Live-In Caregiver in provincial workplace safety insurance (also known as workers’ compensation)
e) Pay for the services, fees and costs of a recruitment or third party agency if you are using one to recruit the caregiver. Employers are not permitted to recover any recruitment fees from Live-In Caregivers
f) Pay the stipulated salary, as set by Service Canada.
