Ontario Provincial Nominee Program

Processing your resident visa through the Provincial Nominee Program involves two different processes: One with the provincial government, and another with the federal government.  We have a wealth of experience dealing with Provincial Nominee Programs.
You are protected; we are Certified Canadian Immigration Consultants, members of CSIC (the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants).
The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program may be a pathway to permanent resident status for foreign workers and international students. However, it is important to understand that in most instances this program is employer-driven. That means you can only apply if you have a permanent full-time job offer, your employer is pre-screened and the position is approved by Opportunities Ontario.
Who can apply?
a) You have a permanent full-time job offer from an Ontario employer in a skilled occupation (NOC 0, A, B) e.g. cooks, chefs, trades, computer programmers, etc...
b) The only exceptions to the requirement of having a permanent full-time job offer are international students who are graduates of a PhD or Masters program from one of Ontario’s publicly funded universities.

Starting January 2015 Immigration Canada implemented an electronic system called Express Entry in order to manage the Federal Skilled WorkerCanadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades, and some Provincial Nominee Programs.
We offer a free assessment of your case if you are interested in the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program, the streams for this PNP being described as follows:
1) If you are a skilled worker with, between others, the required education, skilled work experience and language ability, and if you have qualified for Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s Express Entry pool, you may be selected by the Opportunities Ontario: Provincial Nominee Program (OOPNP) to apply for the Human Capital Priorities Stream. This provincial stream has been specially made for skilled workers who wish to live and work permanently in Ontario, so if you think that you might qualify for this stream, please feel free to contact us for more information.
2) As part of a commitment made to increase francophone immigration to 5% of overall immigration to Ontario, the Province offers some skilled workers the possibility to apply for Permanent Residency through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream. If you are a French-speaking person with a sufficient ability to speak English and if you have qualified for CIC’s Express Entry pool, this stream might be a good option for you.
